Cancelation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be fair. Here’s what you need to know if you need to cancel your trip:
🗓 Canceling Your Trip

60+ days before departure: Your deposit is non-refundable, but all other payments will be fully refunded.

Less than 60 days before departure: Unfortunately, no refunds or credits can be given.
All payments must be completed at least 60 days before the trip begins. If we don’t receive your full balance by then, your spot may be cancelled and all payments forfeited.
🚫 Leaving the Trip Early
If you choose to leave the trip once it has started, no refund or credit will be issued.
🚨 If We Cancel or Make Major Changes

If Sujata Shah Tours cancels or significantly changes your trip for any foreseeable reason, we’ll notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or full credit of what you’ve paid.

If the cancellation is due to unforeseen events (like natural disasters, pandemics, war, etc.), we’ll offer a full credit or refund of any recoverable costs. Non-refundable payments, such as deposits we can’t reclaim, will not be refunded.
We may cancel any trip or workshop at any time if there are too few participants, safety concerns, or if we believe the quality of the experience will be affected. In that case, we’ll refund all payments made to us. This refund will be considered final.

We are not responsible for losses related to non-refundable or non-transferable flights or travel bookings.

Because of this, we require all participants to purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations or interruptions.
📝 Complaints & Requests
If you have a concern about a cancellation or refund, please speak to us about it in a timely way so that we can help to resolve the issue. If further follow-up is needed, email us within 30 days of the end of the trip. Refunds or credits for complaints are at the sole discretion of Sujata Shah Tours.
