Join Sujata for the trip of a lifetime!

Everything I do, believe, and share through my art is connected to my roots in India. My memories of the place I grew up, the colors and textures of the markets, the balance between chaos and creativity of everyday life, are woven throughout all of my work. I would love for you to join me on this journey, so I can share the magic of that world with you!

Agra

2 nights

We’ll visit the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Renowned for its architectural symmetry and beauty, the monument becomes even more impressive up close, where you can admire its intricate marble inlay work: featuring semi-precious stones set into white marble in intricate designs. During our stay, we'll delve deeper into this traditional craft with a visit to an inlay studio where skilled artisans will demonstrate how this centuries-old craft is still practiced by hand today.

We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Red Fort, where lavish interiors and finely carved stonework offer a glimpse into the grandeur of the Mughal Empire.

Finally, on our way to Jaipur, we'll stop to see the awe-inspiring Chand Baori stepwell, a marvel of Indian engineering and beauty built in the 9th century.

Jaipur

7 nights

Jaipur, the Pink City of India, with its forts, palaces, and mansions built with warm honey-toned sandstone, holds a vibrant blend of history, art, craftsmanship, and color. Dating back to the 14th century, it is one of the first planned cities of modern India.

The city is a hub of arts and crafts, particularly known for its block printing tradition and the production of fine fabrics.

Some of the finest crafts emerge from the most humble homes and spaces, where artisans are eager to share their skills in block printing, paper making, quilting, weaving, and natural dyeing with indigo and madder. The city is also famous for its precious stone and silver jewelry, lacquer bangles, and handwoven carpets.

Painted pink in 1876, in the honor of visiting Prince Edward VII, Jaipur sparks with color and, warmth and friendliness of the people.
