Code of Conduct

To help ensure a positive experience for everyone—participants, hosts, artisans, and local communities—we ask that you read and agree to the following Code of Conduct:

1. Respect the Group

  • Be considerate of fellow travelers’ needs, space, time, and energy.

  • Arrive on time for scheduled departures, activities, and meals.

  • Keep noise levels low during hotel stays and while touring areas of cultural sensitivity.

  • If you're unwell or unable to participate, please inform Sujata.

2. Cultural Sensitivity

  • Dress modestly, especially in rural areas and religious sites.

  • Always ask before photographing people or sacred spaces.

  • Honor local customs, even when they differ from your own.

  • Interact respectfully with artisans, hosts, and community members—we are guests in their spaces.

3. Flexibility & Open-mindedness

  • India is vibrant, sometimes unpredictable, and wonderfully complex. Be ready to adapt to changes in the itinerary due to weather, transport, or local conditions.

  • Embrace the unexpected—it’s part of the adventure!

4. Sustainability & Responsibility

  • Avoid single-use plastics when possible.

  • Support artisans and vendors fairly and respectfully—haggling is part of the culture, but kindness is key.

  • Follow all local health and safety regulations, including mask-wearing or sanitizing when requested.

5. Health & Well-being

  • Stay hydrated, rest when needed, and inform your leader of any health concerns.

  • Respect others’ personal health choices.

  • Please bring any necessary medications and travel insurance information with you.

6. Zero Tolerance for Disruptive Behavior

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, theft, or aggression of any kind.

  • We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the tour without refund if their behavior negatively affects the group or violates this Code of Conduct.

7. Represent the Spirit of the Tour

  • This tour is built on connection, creativity, and community. We ask that you travel with curiosity, kindness, and an open heart.

By joining this tour, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct to help create a safe, enriching, and respectful environment for all.
